
Robert Kent, MHA, MPH, DO, FAAPMR
Medical Director
Dr. Kent is the Medical Director and leads the physical medicine and rehabilitation (PMR) services for patients in coordination with the interdisciplinary hospital rehab team. Dr. Kent has over 15 years' experience as a Physiatrist (PMR) and interventional pain physician. Previously, he has served as a Medical Director at local Rehabilitation Hospitals in the Altamonte and Orlando communities. He has also served as the PMR Residency Director of Lake Monroe. Dr. Kent is the CEO of Kadia Interventional Spine & Pain.

Dr. Kent is a graduate of Des Moines University, where he received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) as well as a Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) and a Master of Public Health (MPH). He completed his fellowship at the University of South Florida PM&R Residency Program.

He is board-certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the American Osteopathic Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and the American Osteopathic Board of Pain Management.
Dr. Kent is a member of the American Osteopathic College of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the American Medical Association, the American Osteopathic Association, and the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association, as well as other medical associations. Dr. Kent is a Fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (FAAPMR), and he has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed publications, as well as chapters in medical textbooks, lectures, and formal presentations to his peers. He has chaired hospital residency programs and various hospital executive committees and has served as Hospital Chief of Staff and Chief Resident in multiple hospitals. He holds numerous awards from prestigious institutions for his work and his research.
